Having just come back from the trip of a lifetime, we firmly believe that everyone has to "do" Poland. And the best way of doing that is with a great bunch of friends, a well prepared itinerary, but most of all with the best guide / history teacher in the business.
Sara and our fellow travellers made this journey even more meaningful for us than we dared hope.
Thank You!

Sara Pellach – “Journey of a lifetime to Poland” - nobody does it better..

Her guided tour covers not only the Holocaust period but also the culture of Jewish life in Poland.

In one short week she instilled into our group a deeper understanding of a vital period in Jewish history which must never be forgotten.

Tireless in her efforts, totally professional in her approach and forever caring for her charges – no adequate words can describe the incredible journey that Sara so capably organized.

An amazing Journey, never to be forgotten.

Dear Sara
I have finally found a quiet moment to pen a few sentences to express our gratitude to you for the most incredible exerience we shared with you in Poland. The boys haven"t stopped talking, discussing and reminiscing. The staff are still overwhelmed by the warmth and depth of feeling with which you impart your knowlege and information.
The way in which you and your team rose to the challenge was remarkable.
you handled the complicated logistics with such apparent ease made the trip gallop along like a clockwork.
In your inimitable warm and friendly style, you made a supreme effort to make possible our every request and the itinerary we manged defies belief.
Sara, we can never thank you enough.
May Hashem continue to give you the strenght, health and inspiration to continue on this holy mission for many years to come.

My husband and I are full of admiration for you for the way you conducted the tour, with such thoroughness, maintaining the discipline of so many participants with regard to schedule and cooperation from everyone concerned.

From a historical perspective your knowledge and insights were overwhelming, prompting us to now dig for more and more knowledge, so that our psyche will be imbued with this horrible passage of the Jewish experience.

The participation of Rabbi Weiss made it all encompassing, with Shabbat services, Daf Yomi reading, and Jewish/religious anecdotes.

I will also never forget the angelic face of Paulina Keslvska, the righteous among the nations, who related the story of how her family managed to save some of my family of Jews, and we know the risks that entailed. She energized me and strengthened my faith in the basic goodness of the human soul. Halina Birenbaum recounted her nightmarish experiences under the Nazis and, of course, like Halina, for everyone who was there, there is sometimes a similar and sometimes a different wretching memory.

In addition, we had the personal and family stories of our fellow tour goers, which further brought what we were experiencing to life. And what about the movies in preparation for what we were about to see! Sara, you thought of it all!

My fellow tour goers were the greatest. In spite of the solemnity of the trip, it was, paradoxically, a most uplifting experience, because "Am Israel Hai". I can more vividly visualize the horrendous landscape of those years, and have a moment of introspection, which since, occurs daily. We are thankful for the opportunity, as you put it to have spent "a week of our lives and a week for all our lifetime".

The trip went above and beyond my expectations. Never before have my experiences in just one week affected my life as much as our week in Poland. I can not imagine going on this journey with anyone else besides Sara Pellach as the tour guide, and Rabbi Weiss. They complemented each other perfectly.

People asked me how it was. It was difficult, but at the same time comforting. It was not just about losing Six Million Jews, and just how unfathomable that is; but about 1,000 years of Jewish history that existed and without which Jewish life today would be unrecognizable. And how that history came to an end. For me it was about making a wonderful discovery of the generations that culminated in the Six Million; and the feeling of a terrible sense of loss. And then coming home to Eretz Yisrael. Coming home as never before. Thank you to Rabbi Weiss, to Sara, and to the group. And thank you to my wife Susie, without whom I would never have made the trip.

A very worthwhile trip. The weight of the trip kept building right to the end at the museum in Krakow. Rabbi Weiss and Sara were not only great by themselves but very complementary and brought the trip to a high level.

Few experiences in my life have affected me so deeply as the trip to Poland with Sara Pellach and Rabbi Weiss. There is just no comparison to learning about the Shoah by lectures, reading a book or watching a film. In Poland, we stood at the edge of the pit of hell and looked down into the abyss. We returned with knowledge that cannot be gained any other way.

I cannot conceive of having better guides for the journey than Sara Pellach complemented by Rabbi Weiss and I can only agree with them that every adult, at least once in their life, should make such a journey.

Sara organized our recent Family Heritage Tour of Poland. Every detail was tended to. Saras depth of knowledge made the trip so informative. Her addition of different media, including testimonies of survivors, music, poems, and her own stories complimented her knowledge. Our local guide was also very knowledgeable. Sara personalized our tour to include the family home town as well as the traditional Jewish sites. I highly recommend Sara and her organization especially if you are looking for a personalized experience.

We cried together, and we laughed together. We shared memories, even the most painful ones. We certainly benefited from each others support in the group.
